Backcountry. Tours. Education.Central Oregon Cascades Snowmobile Tours Three Special Areas... We have three different jumping off points to choose from depending on snow conditions and time of year. Each has unique features that give the area a personality of its own. All three access points are interconnected via the Cross District Trail. Corbett Sno-Park, (elevation: 4215’ ) is located on the east side of the Santiam Pass west of Sisters and Black Butte Ranch. Lots of open terrain left by the B&B forest fire of 2003 make this area perfect for off trail play and spectacular views of Mt. Washington, Three Finger Jack, and the Three Sisters mountains. This our favorite area in the heart of winter. The Historic McKenzie Hwy starts at an elevation of 3810’and climbs to just under 6000’. This scenic highway is open to cars in the summer months and hosts some fantastic snowmobiling in the winter. When you reach Dee Wright Observatory at the top of the pass, you’ll experience the grand views of the mountains across the expansive lava flows. The tour over the McKenzie pass will provide a chance to ride on some of the biggest snow drifts in the Cascade Mountains. Three Creeks Sno-Park, (elevation: 5160’ ) offers consistently high elevations that give this area dry powder snow and an extended season. From here you access some fantastic riding around Three Creeks Lake, which is nestled at the foot of the magnificent cliffs of Tam McArther Rim. Two Hour Day Tour... Enjoy a fantastic morning or afternoon of trail touring led by one of our professional guides. You’ll get up into some high country with great snow, superb views, and fun terrain! This is a great way to taste the winter backcountry. Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and any time with custom reservation.* $110/Adult Rider, $45/Adult Passenger, $25/Youth Passenger under 15. Sunset to Moon Light Tours... Have dinner at the lodge or restaurant of your choice before meeting your guide at the snow park for a surreal 1.5 hour night tour. The snow covered trails sparkle like glitter in the lights of the snowmobiles as we float past moon lit vistas of Cascade mountains, meadows, and lakes. We’ll stop and take in the spellbinding silence and glimmering snow over hot drinks part way through the tour. Saturday nights through the season, and any night with custom reservation.* $90/Adult Rider, $35/Adult Passenger, $20/Youth Passenger under 15. Four Hour Day Tour... This is a day you’ll remember forever! Experience many miles of terrific trail touring through some of the best views in the Oregon Cascades. In addition to the trail, your guide will lead you to some awesome off trail powder riding! We’ll even give you great instruction on some exciting maneuvers and techniques that you can use to show off to your friends on your next tour. Bring your own lunch or we’ll pack one for you for $10.00. Do you want to book one of our trips out of the regular schedule, or have a particular route/destination in mind? Do you want to ride longer or shorter than our regular trips allow?
